THE GIRLS WHO CODE :)


Here at Brooks, we have established the wonderful club of Girls Who Code. In our headquarters, C81 (aka Mrs. Pike's room), you'll find many of our girls coding away while having a great time. With the help of Mrs. Rooney, Mrs.Pike, Mr. Allred, and Mrs. Eimer, we are able to successfully create various projects such as video games and even to building a website. We work hard, are kind, brave, and willing to take risks. Through all this, we hope to achieve our ultimate goal of doing the impossible, one girl at a time.

 

THE GIRLS WHO CODE CONTRACT

 

1. Work Hard - Every coder has to persevere and try their best in order to succeed. 

 

2. Be Brave - The girls here who attend club are fearless and are willing to make mistakes. We aren't scared of new challenges we face at club.

 

3. Be Curious - Every coder at Girls Who Code has to be curious, meaning they  to                                                                         explore all the features the program offers them. 

 

                                                                  4. Be Kind -  We accept constructive criticism from both our peers and teachers. We help                                                                         our fellow coders when they need help and no matter what, we support each other.
